Located in Bury St Edmunds in the heart of Suffolk, we cover projects extending throughout East Anglia, encompassing Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, and Hertfordshire.

All of our projects are conducted with a sympathetic approach and the upmost care, ensuring full client satisfaction throughout all stages of each project, whilst respectfully conserving the past and creating exceptional buildings for the future.
We have carried out many significant and prestigious local projects, working closely with our private residential clients, the Church of England, the National Trust, English Heritage, local councils and professional institutions, including the University of Cambridge and its associated Colleges.

We have been family-owned for three generations, enabling us to build an enviable workforce of directly-employed craftspeople and trades, many of whom have been with us since their apprenticeships. This broad inhouse skillset, complemented by trusted and committed specialist subcontractors and suppliers, allows us to take on a wide range of projects with confidence.
Our craftspeople are supported by contracts managers, quantity surveyors, estimators, and a dedicated office and administration team who contribute a wealth of knowledge and experience, ensuring our projects are delivered with the best quality service and proven eye for detail on which we pride ourselves.

Our long-standing establishment (now 80 years!) has enabled us to develop a long-standing workforce with a fantastically varied practical skillset and unrivalled theoretical knowledge/experience.
Being established for so long, we are very much aware of the need to proactively and continually upskill our existing employee team, through development, training, and exposure to a wide varied range of specialist projects.
We proactively engage and invest in supporting new apprentices, we maintain a continual and professional engagement with West Suffolk College to support not only our current apprentices, but with a view to finding new in the future, and we provide local school students with work experience opportunities..
